Joel is back. Our funny, sweet boy who loves to play is entirely back. Today we were giving Joel his chemotherapy. It is an infusion we give at home that lasts 30 minutes. Joel did not want to stay on daddy’s lap for the entire half hour. It was about six weeks ago that we could not get Joel off of our laps long enough to do the dishes or help our other children get a cup of water or a snack. When I see Joel signing “all done” and trying to wiggle his way off of his dad’s lap because he is so ready to go play and doesn’t want to be held anymore it makes my heart happy.

Also, we have something pretty exciting to announce this week. Hopefully we have two exciting things to announce this week. Check back in Friday for the big announcements. (Ryan wants me to clarify that they are not medical announcements, and no, we are not pregnant.)
